"Homes"

“Homes” is a powerful sculpture for Public Art on Main: 2009 created by homeless persons. The project with its 300 ceramic tiles is an attention-grabbing bulletin board of messages from the homeless. Mark Making collaborated with Julie Clark and eight agencies/ministries that serve the homeless to create this compelling tower on Main Street.

  1. I think that this sculpture helps people sympathize with the homeless. I t portrays the feelings and emotions of a different lifestyle. I believe that it would be amazing to have these all over the united states as a reminder. Many people block out the idea of people being homeless. But it is a real problem that wont be solved if people forget about it.
